This site exists so readers can get the opening chapters of Hallows MC and hear when the book is out. That means it collects an email address. This page explains exactly what happens to it, in plain language.
Only what you type into the sign-up form:
Nothing else is asked for. No payment details are taken on this site, and no account is created.
To send you the free opening chapters you signed up for, and occasional news about the book — a release date, a cover, that sort of thing. Nothing is sold, rented, traded, or shared with advertisers, ever.
The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see below), and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it.
The mailing list runs on Kit (formerly ConvertKit), an email service provider based in the United States. Your address is stored on their systems so the emails can be sent. Kit acts as a data processor and transfers are covered by their standard contractual clauses. Their own privacy policy is at kit.com/privacy.
The site itself is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and abuse prevention.
That is the entire list. There is no analytics tracker, no advertising pixel, and no third-party cookie on this site.
Until you unsubscribe, or until you ask for it to be deleted. If the mailing list is ever wound up, it is deleted then.
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access the data held about you, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy of it. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Hallows MC is a dark romance intended for adult readers. This site is not directed at children, and no data is knowingly collected from anyone under 16.
